Bangalore Palace: It was built by Rev. J. Garrett. Its construction was completed in 1944. Today it is owned by the Mysore royal family.
Jawaharal Nehru Planetarium: Located in Choudaiah Road and established in 1989, the planetarium has a sky theatre with a huge dome that has a diameter of 15 metres. It hosts two astronomy shows per day.
Tipu Sultan's Fort: It started as a mud fort built by Kempegowda and was later replaced with a stone fort by Hyder Ali.
Lal Bagh: The most renowned botanical garden in South Bangalore, commissioned by Hyder Ali, the son of Tipu Sultan. Its glass house is famous for hosting annual flower shows.
